🏡💜 WE GOT THE HOUSE & IT’S FINALLY FURNISHED! 💜🏡

Our 3rd EmpowHER Living Solutions home is officially furnished and almost ready! 🙌 We have three ladies waiting to move in Monday, and we just need ONE final blessing to get us across the finish line.

We’re looking for one sponsor or several people willing to help us raise $250 to purchase brand-new household essentials for the ladies — dishes, pots & pans, silverware, cups, towels, washcloths, kitchen utensils, food storage containers, cleaning supplies, shower curtains, trash cans and all those little things that truly make a house feel like HOME. 🏠❤️

We have watched God provide every step of the way, and we are so grateful for every person who has donated, shared, prayed, supported or simply believed in what we’re doing. Three women. One new home. A fresh start. 💜

🏡 Our third EmpowHER Living Solutions home is officially move-in ready… all we need now is the furniture to make it feel like HOME.

Watching this vision come to life has been incredible. Our first two homes are full, and the women living in them continue to remind us why this mission matters.

💜 Here’s what your support has already made possible:
• Two women are preparing to transition into independent housing next month.
• Every resident has remained stable, paid her rent on time, and continued taking care of her physical and mental health.
• Two women have secured full-time employment.
• One courageous woman has safely escaped a domestic violence relationship.
• Women who once faced homelessness are now living with dignity, accountability, and hope.

Today, we’re asking our community to help us open the doors to our third home.

We currently have a 73-year-old woman who was taken advantage of by a scammer and lost the money she had saved. She has now been evicted from her subsidized housing and does not qualify for assisted living. She will receive another check on the 3rd, but if she has to spend it on a security deposit and furnishing a home, she’ll have very little left to live on for the rest of the month.

Our goal has never been to simply provide a place to stay. We believe every woman deserves to walk into a home that is beautiful, peaceful, and filled with dignity. When someone feels proud of where they live, they are more likely to care for it, respect it, and begin believing they deserve a better future.

While we gratefully accept furniture donations, monetary donations are preferred. This allows us to furnish each EmpowHER home with the same quality, comfort, and welcoming atmosphere as our other homes, ensuring every woman receives the same opportunity to heal and thrive.

Current needs:

👗 Three dressers
🛋️ Living room furniture
🪑 Kitchen table and chairs
🛏️ Bedding
🛁 Towels
🍽️ Dishes, cookware, and kitchen essentials

Every donation helps remove barriers so women can afford their monthly rent, rebuild financially, and focus on employment, health, and long-term independence instead of starting over with nothing.

Today we welcomed a new resident into EmpowHER Living Solutions. She moved in today and started her new job today after making the courageous decision to leave a domestic violence relationship and rebuild her life from the ground up.

She is not just a survivor—she’s a warrior.

🎉 Another Month. Another Milestone. 🎉

This month, every woman in our shared living homes paid her rent on time and in full. That’s 10 consecutive months of 100% on-time rent payments. To some people, that might just sound like paying rent. To us, it’s proof that the right support makes a difference.

We’ve spent years working with women leaving shelter, and we’ve seen firsthand how difficult it can be to stay housed once that built-in support system is gone. It’s rarely because someone doesn’t want to succeed. More often, life starts piling up. Small problems become big ones, and before long, they’re facing another housing crisis.

That’s exactly why we created this program. We’ve believed from the very beginning that housing alone isn’t enough.

People don’t just need a key to an apartment and a “good luck.” They need support. They need accountability. They need someone who notices when they’re struggling before a setback becomes a crisis. They need a home that feels safe, peaceful, and welcoming… a place they’re proud to take care of and proud to come home to.

We’ve learned that when people are treated with dignity, surrounded by encouragement, and given clear expectations, they’re far more likely to succeed. That doesn’t mean there aren’t difficult conversations. There are. We talk about budgeting, responsibility, communication, and following through. That’s not punishment, that’s support.

Real support doesn’t end the day someone gets housed. That’s the difference we’re trying to make.

We’re incredibly proud of the women in our homes. They’re the ones putting in the work every single day, making responsible choices, paying their bills, and proving that with the right environment, lasting stability is possible.

Ten months may just be a number to some people. To us, it represents consistency, resilience, accountability, and ten months of women choosing stability over survival.

This is why EmpowHER Living Solutions and Foundation exists. Not just to provide housing, but to create a place where women can rebuild their lives, regain confidence, and finally have the support they need to succeed.

Here’s to another month of growth, accountability, and women proving just how capable they truly are. 💜

There is something incredibly powerful about watching a woman choose herself again after living in fear for so long.

At EmpowHER Living Solutions & Foundation, we are honored to have built partnerships with many of the domestic violence shelters, advocates, and community organizations throughout Butler County.

Next week, we will welcome another resident into our home as she closes one chapter marked by pain, uncertainty, and survival and begins a new one filled with safety, support, healing, and hope.

She will finally be able to exhale.

To sleep without fear.
To let her hair down.
To sit in peace.
To rediscover who she is outside of survival mode.

She will be surrounded by women who understand, encourage, and remind her that what happened to her does not define her future.

Because every woman deserves more than just making it through the day.

She deserves to feel safe.
She deserves to be seen.
She deserves to heal.
She deserves the chance to dream again.
She deserves the opportunity to thrive and not simply survive.

This is why EmpowHER exists.

One woman.
One safe place.
One fresh start.

Today was one of those days that reminded me why we started building EmpowHER.

We found out one of the housing resources shelters have relied on for families is coming to an end for now.

The hard part is that the need doesn’t end just because the funding does.

Families are still trying. Moms are still working. Kids still need safe places to call home.

Some days this work is heavy, but it’s also why we believe so strongly in what we’re building.
