9/11 stair climb with Life Time Middletown-Red Bank 🇺🇸

For the second year in a row, Lifetime Fitness invited us to participate in their 9/11 stair climb event to raise money for the Maintenance Fund of the Middletown WTC Garden. First responders and Lifetime members got to climb 110 floors to honor all who lost their life that tragic day and all who continue to serve.

EMT Kevin Guether represented EMS and completed the stair climb.
Multiple EMTs covered an emergency standby for the event.

Thank you Lifetime for inviting us to this honorable event.

25 years later, We remember.

Today, the members of The Middletown EMS Department pause to remember the 2,977 lives lost on 9/11/2001. We honor the sacrifices made by the first responders who did not get to return home to their families.

The Middletown EMS department will have an EMS standby present at tonights 9/11 Memorial at The World Trade Center Memorial garden at 7pm. This Sunday we will also have members participating in the Lifetime fitness stair climb challenge to honor those who did not make it home.

The Middletown Township EMS Department would like to send our condolences to Neptune OEM and Deputy EMS Coordinator Bil Rosen’s family, friends, and colleagues.
Bil was a cherished colleague, friend, mentor, and member of our EMS community. His dedication to serving others, unwavering compassion, and commitment to this profession left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Yesterday was all hands on deck for Monmouth County’s America’s Big Birthday Parade! Middletown took primary command and staffed EMS crews at four different stations throughout the 2.3 mile parade. We also had multiple apparatus in the parade. The town remained covered during the whole event with 3 different crews from MEMS. Crews from to Marlboro EMS, Holmdel EMS, and MedStar provided assistance staffing 2 ambulances in our parade route and provided an ATV and Gator for rapid responses in the parade! Medical Ambulance Bus 6 was also there to provide assistance! Thank you to all the crew members and agencies who helped our standby run smoothly!
