Soft Launch Alert: The CVE Spirit Wear Store is OPEN!

We are doing a soft launch of our brand new online merch store and we want YOU to be the first to shop it! Hoodies, tees, and class merch are all available now through June 5th. After that, we will reopen on August 1st right before school starts in the fall. So stock up now!

• Pickup up from Lana at the CVE school office — we will email you when your order is ready!

Open House is Thursday, May 28th… and honestly, what makes Open House even better than seeing all the amazing students’ work? FOOD! 🌮🍧🍪🌺

❤️ A portion of vendor food sale proceeds will support next year’s 5th grade class activities.

A special thank you to all of the teachers who helped put together such a thoughtful appreciation gathering for our PTO board and volunteers today. Your kindness and recognition meant so much to all of us. It was a wonderful reminder of how strong and supportive our CVE community truly is.

Thank you for everything you do each and every day for our students, families, and school. We appreciate you more than words can say!

The Lost and Found has returned, and the Guardian is nowhere to be found.

Items are hung up and laid out, but they are no longer staying put. Hoodies have formed clusters. Water bottles have been spotted rolling in pairs. A lunchbox was seen near the field.

They are searching.

Please retrieve your child’s belongings by May 15 before things get out of hand again.

And that’s a wrap on Staff Appreciation Week!

We are ending the week with the cutest little charcuterie boxes because after a week full of learning, patience, encouragement, problem solving, and approximately 47,000 unanswered questions from children, our staff deserves a snack box.

This week we had so much fun celebrating the incredible teachers and staff who make CVE such a special place. From succulents to bookmarks, postcards to sunglasses, lunches and treats, every little gift was simply a way to say:

We see you.
We appreciate you.
And we are so thankful for everything you do for our kids every single day.

Thank you to everyone who helped donate, organize, contribute, and support Staff Appreciation Week. We hope our staff felt the love all week long and they absolutely deserved it. 🩵
