This Saturday, August 15, will be our first “Family Saturday,”sponsored by Robinson+Cole!

Come and explore our new “Connecticut’s Revolution” exhibit between 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free!

Highlights include Connecticut’s copy of the Declaration of Independence, a rare regimental flag, a uniform, a cannon, and much more. In fact, visitors will enjoy exploring the more than 100 artifacts on display in this special exhibit.

A big thank you to Robinson+Cole for their support of the exhibit.

It’s right and appropriate that Phil Cacciola won the inaugural award of this new veteran recognition program.

I presented Connecticut’s Third Congressional District Veteran Impact Award to Mr. Phil Cacciola.

After 30 years in the US Army Reserves, Phil devoted his life to serving our community & fellow veterans. Thank you for your dedicated selfless service to others.

Great post from our great incoming leader.

I could not be more proud and grateful of the members of Department of Connecticut Veterans of Foreign Wars and VFW Department of Connecticut VFW Auxiliary that traveled to the 127th VFW National Convention in Reno, Nevada. As I reflect on a successful convention, I want to extend my sincere gratitude to everyone who made it possible. Thank you to our members, the Auxiliary, and staff (Bella), and every attendee whose hard work and dedication ensured a memorable and productive convention.

Together, we honored our traditions, strengthened our mission, and set the course for another great year of service to veterans, their families, and our communities. I am grateful for your support and proud to serve alongside each of you.

Thank you, and may God bless the Veterans of Foreign Wars, our Auxiliary, and the great State of Connecticut.
