Mental Health Tip: Did you know that October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month? Approximately 1 in 4 pregnancies end in a loss. Unfortunately, Black women have higher rates of experiencing pregnancy and infant loss. Losing a desired pregnancy can feel like losing a loved one. It can also feel extremely isolating and traumatic. Give grace to those who grieve the loss of pregnancies and infants. Know someone needing support? Check out the Delaware TEARS Foundation or Postpartum Support International's FREE online Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support groups at postpartum.net!

During Brain Aneurysm Awareness Month, Mu Psi Sigma Alumnae Chapter pauses today to honor the life and legacy of our beloved Charter Member, Soror Valerie Rabb, mother of our Madam Basileus, Soror Miesha Rabb.

Soror Valerie’s legacy of love, service, and impact continues to live on through the lives she touched and the work she inspired. Today, we remember her, honor her, and continue to raise awareness in her name. 🧠💙💛

Brain aneurysms can occur without warning. Knowing the risk factors and recognizing signs, such as a sudden, severe headache, can save a life.

Join March of Dimes on Tuesday, September 29, at 1:00 p.m. EDT / 10:00 a.m. PDT for our special virtual webinar, Small Actions: Make a Big Difference for Moms and Babies.

The program will feature opening remarks from U.S. Rep. Robin Kelly, followed by a conversation with California Surgeon General Dr. Diana Ramos and Dr. Stacie NC Grant, International President and CEO of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated and March of Dimes Board of Trustees member. The event will be hosted by Stacey Brayboy and moderated by Dr. Michael Warren.

Together, we’ll explore the many ways individuals can make an impact from supporting a mom or family in their own community to raising their voice through advocacy to help create broader change.
