Hi friends!
We have 1 more spot in our camp next week for a student who has been here before! Whether you take weekly lessons or you’ve done a camp with us before, this camp is a great opportunity to improve your skills, learn new things, and have a blast with horses and friends. June 15th-17th from 10am-1pm.

We have had 5 summer camps sponsored and awarded to students here in our community! We are so thrilled you folks have been so willing to help!

We have 2 more kids at the moment who could use a sponsor for a camp if anyone else is interested in sponsoring!

We would like to thank Gwen Holmgren Thomas, Robin Ellis, Kristen Collins, Lisa Mayerhofer, and Courtney MacKrell for donating to allow kids to attend camps this summer. Your support is truly a blessing.

If anyone else is in need of a sponsorship for camp that I’m not aware of, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Our first trail course competition of the year was a success! Well done to all horses and competitors and thank you to our helpers Katelyn Henrikson, Emily, Izzi, Gracie Huston, and her friends!

Congratulations to Norah and Dreamer on their win! 🥇

It may look like some simple obstacles, but it actually takes a lot of practice, coordination, patience, and composure to execute it well on another being that doesn’t speak your language!

I told the girls before the competition that I had 2 goals for them: have fun and learn something you can carry into your next ride or your next competition. Maybe that means finding strategies to calm your nerves, or maybe it means changing how you communicate… softer, sooner, clearer, calmer.

I hope all of the competitors can say they completed those 2 goals! Thank you for your support and it was great to have everyone. Looking forward to June’s competition!

Most of the saddles (the clean ones in this picture) had their covers put back on after trail course practice today! Only 1 saddle didn’t get covered. Thank you to the girls who put the covers back on (not sure if it was the helpers or riders) and put their things away neatly! It helps tack last longer and lightens my work load in the evening. When you take care of the equipment and horses’ needs after your ride, it makes me feel like you care; I notice and appreciate that. 🥰

We got in some unofficial trail course practice yesterday! Everyone did great and we got all of our practice in, despite the wind and rain. ⛈️
