Description: April 7th, 2024, marks the start of Kwibuka 30, the 30th commemoration of the Genocide against the Tutsi, which began on April 7th, 1994. Kwibuka, meaning “to remember” in Kinyarwanda, is a concept that invites us to honor and reflect on the tragedy of the Genocide. It will feature speeches, poems, and a documentary screening to raise awareness about Rwanda’s painful past, acknowledge its resilient present, and contemplate its hopeful future.
Join us as we come together to remember, honor, and stand in solidarity with the Rwandan people.
