Michigan Families For Fair is proud to partner with the Next250 Coalition and Michigan United and invite you to come with us to Washington, D.C. on June 27, 2026 for the Next250 National Mobilization.
As we witness ongoing attacks on voting rights, civil liberties, immigrants, and marginalized communities, we know this moment requires courage, imagination, solidarity, and collective action.
Across the country, people are coming together to reject fear, division, and dehumanization and to stand for a future rooted in justice, belonging, democracy, dignity, and our shared humanity. Through town halls, listening sessions, storytelling gatherings, organizing efforts, and community conversations, people across generations and movements have been helping shape a collective vision for the next chapter of this country through a Declaration of Interdependence.
During this 250th commemoration, the June 27 mobilization is an opportunity for communities from across the country to gather in Washington, D.C. to declare not only what we are fighting against, but what we are building together.
Buses will depart Friday, June 26 at 8 PM. We will travel overnight and arrive in Washington, D.C., early Saturday morning as the event is just beginning. After a powerful day of demonstration, we'll get back on the bus and travel home, returning Sunday morning around 5 AM.
