Good morning, OTaaTers! I hope you all had a nice weekend! We’ve got some important information for you this week, so be sure to listen all the way to the end!
But first, let’s talk about this week’s happenings!
Today, Monday, August 24th, Ensley is meeting at 1:00 for bingo and snacks.
Tuesday, August 25th, Croton is meeting at 12:00 for games and snacks.
Wednesday, August 26th, we have crafting at Woodview at 10:00.
Thursday, August 27th, we have Brunch and Bingo at Sheridan at 11:00 and Tai Chi Walking at Grant at 2:00.
And Friday, August 28th is our White Caps Game outing!
For everyone attending the White Caps game this Friday, Karen will be texting you today with your meet-up location and time. If we’re unable to reach you by text, we will give you a call.
The game starts at 6:35 PM. Our first pick-up location is the Catholic Charities office in White Cloud at 4:30 PM. Our second pick-up location is Ensley Township Hall between 4:45 and 5:00 PM.
If you’re riding the bus, you will receive your game ticket and vouchers on the bus. If you’re driving yourself, you will receive your game ticket, vouchers, and parking pass from me at one of the township meet-ups this week. If you can’t make a township meet-up, please contact me to make arrangements to pick up your tickets before Friday.
A reminder that registration forms and waivers must be on file for everyone attending the White Caps game. If you haven’t turned yours in by Friday, you will need to complete them on the bus. Drivers will need to complete their forms with me before receiving their tickets.
Each attendee will receive one game ticket, one voucher for a pop and hot dog, and a discount coupon for the souvenir shop. Please remember that the ballpark is card only—no cash.
We will also be staying for the post-game fireworks, so our estimated return time will be between 10:00 and 10:30 PM.
Now, a reminder about your OTaaT registration and waiver forms. These are due back by Monday, August 31st, along with any recipes you would like to submit for our OTaaT cookbook.
These forms were mailed to you with your September and October calendars at the beginning of August. You can bring them to a township meet-up this week, or mail them to:

If you did not receive your calendars, registration forms, waiver, or recipe forms, please contact Karen at 231-414-4358 to confirm or provide your mailing address.
Remember, registration and waiver forms must be on file in order to participate in OTaaT events going forward.
And one more update about our Frankenmuth Bus Trip on Friday, October 23rd. The bus is officially full! However, we contacted Zehnder’s and confirmed that we can add additional seats for lunch.
So, if you would like to drive yourself and meet us in Frankenmuth for lunch and shopping, please contact Karen to register no later than 4:00 PM this Thursday, August 27th. The cost is still $15 cash, due the day of the trip.
Finally, registration is still open for our upcoming classes and events in September and October, but classes are filling up quickly! Be sure to contact Karen to get signed up today.
