💇🏾‍♀️ Style Bar Rules & Eligibility – Noir Village Inc.

“Look Good, Feel Good” Girls Edition – Back-to-School Style Bar

✅ Who Is Eligible?
• Girls in Kindergarten through 6th Grade
• Boys are welcome only for basic braid styles
⸻

🌀 Styles & Services Offered
• Styles using child‘s natural hair
• No weave, extensions, or add-ins (unless a volunteer offers this service)
• Styles will be selected from a pre-approved lookbook at check-in, unless the child brings their own style photo for stylist approval

🧼 Before You Arrive
• Hair must be clean and fully detangled
• Blow-dried is preferred, but not required
• If the child’s hair is not detangled, they may be asked to reschedule or wait until we can assist (wait times may increase)

💁🏽‍♀️ What to Bring
• Your own hair accessories (beads, barrettes, rubber bands, cuffs, bows)
– OR –
• A $5 donation to cover hair accessories provided on-site

• August 1–3 | 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Fridays (August 1 & 8) | 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Please arrive on time. Walk-ins may experience a wait.

⏱️ Additional Guidelines
• Parents/guardians must stay on-site or sign waiver to leave child unattended
• No outside guests or siblings unless they are also signed up
• If your child is unable to sit still or becomes distressed during the process, we may have to pause or reschedule for their comfort
• Please be respectful of our stylists and volunteers

✨ “Look Good, Feel Good” – Girls Back-to-School Style Bar ✨

We’re helping our girls step into the school year confident, proud, and cared for, because when a girl feels good, she shows up ready to shine!

📅 Dates: August 1st–3rd & August 8th
⏰ Time: 12PM–8PM (Fridays only: 4PM–9PM)

👧🏾 Open to girls in K–6th grade
👦🏾 Boys accepted only for basic braiding styles

✨ What to Expect:
✔️ Natural styles only (braids, puffs, twists — no weave add-ins unless volunteer offers)
✔️ FREE styling done by community volunteers
✔️ Choose from a style guide or bring your own simple idea
✔️ Must come with CLEAN and DETANGLED hair
✔️ Blow-dried preferred but not required
🎀 Bring your own hair accessories or donate $5 toward them
