The Miami Museum of Contemporary Art of the African Diaspora (Miami MoCAAD) will celebrate its 10th anniversary with an immersive night of art, technology, and cultural innovation during Soul Basel, as part of Art of Black Miami and Miami Art Week on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM at the Black Archives Historic Lyric Theater Lobby & Plaza.

Among several featured exhibitions and our Innovation Story produced by 8 X Emmy Award Winning Producer Michael Anderson;
Guests will also enjoy a large-scale outdoor viewing on the New World Symphony Mobile WALLCASTÂŽ, a 23' x 13' screen displaying these exhibitions in vivid detail.

Inside in the Lyric Theater Lobby, step into the future with "Looking Forward", an art exhibition presented in partnership with N’Namdi Contemporary Fine Art, that showcases works by acclaimed artists Mark Delmont, Stephen Arboite, Maxwell Pearce, Sidney Blu and Samuel Nnorom.

Enjoy an inspiring evening of live performances, local bites, and community connection as we celebrate the powerful fusion of art, technology, and innovation in shaping Miami’s cultural landscape.

In the heart of historic Overtown, Miami, at the Black Archives Historic Lyric Theater (), we proudly present one of our anniversary’s signature experiences: Miami MoCAAD’s Mobile Interactive Mural Exhibition, “Telling Overtown Stories, Saying Their Names.”

This community-centered public art project amplifies the rich history, culture, and unbreakable spirit of Overtown. Rooted in remembrance and celebration, the exhibition honors the individuals whose lives, stories, and legacies continue to shape Miami’s cultural landscape.
