Shozanio’s Place, Inc. is currently accepting referrals for our Safe Housing Program serving justice-impacted women in Miami-Dade County who are:

✅ Returning home from incarceration
✅ Currently on probation or parole
✅ Within one year of release
✅ Committed to rebuilding their lives

Our program provides confidential, safe, and supportive housing in a structured environment designed to promote stability, accountability, personal growth, and successful community reintegration.

Residents receive:

🏠 Fully furnished shared bedrooms
🧴 Welcome baskets and hygiene essentials
🚌 Transportation assistance if funds are available
💼 Employment-readiness support
🤝 Mentorship, life coaching, and encouragement
📚 Connections to community resources

Referral and pre-screening are required, and eligibility requirements apply.

We welcome referrals from probation and parole officers, correctional institutions, reentry programs, service providers, and community organizations.

Shozanio’s Place Inc. was honored to attend the Umbrella of Hope Reentry Coalition General Meeting. 💚

The meeting provided an opportunity to connect with community partners, share resources, and discuss ways we can continue supporting individuals returning home after incarceration.

We were also proud to introduce the Shozanio’s Place Safe Housing Program, which provides justice-impacted women with safe housing, essential resources, and supportive services as they rebuild their lives and work toward self-sufficiency.

This past Saturday, Shozanio’s Place Inc. was honored to be invited to Transition and BankUnited’s 2nd Annual Wellness Fair! 💚

We spoke with community members about HIV awareness and the importance of knowing their status. In partnership with Midway Specialty Care Center, attendees received free HIV testing. Those who completed a test received a hygiene and hair-care bag along with braiding hair from Shozanio’s Place.
