Have you heard of the University of Miami Linda Ray Intervention Center?

In the 1980s, amidst a severe drug crisis, Linda and Wendell Ray stepped up to face major problems in our community: children being left, daily, in trash bins, and drastic growth of drug use and violence.

For nearly 30 years, the center serves children with learning delays as a result of exposure to drugs, abuse, and neglect.

TODAY, more than 80% of the children that enter the center with learning delays by the age of three are school ready and up to par with their peers.

Help our mission, and the Linda Ray Intervention Center’s mission, to prepare our future leaders for school readiness!
