In Nicaragua, maíz 🌽 is everywhere. In the food we share, the traditions we keep, and the stories passed from one generation to the next.

From tortillas and nacatamales to güirila and elotes, maíz is deeply woven into our everyday life and our identity.

For our students, celebrating Día del Maíz was a chance to discover that heritage in their own way, through costumes, art, food, and a little bit of orgullo nicaragüense. 💙🇳🇮🤍
