Today is a day of loss.

It brings us great sadness to announce the passing of our friend and partner Iris Münzel today at 4pm Central European Time.

Iris was a romance scam victim who had come to our organization a few years ago and stayed to help us support many other scam victims. In that time she became a good friend to many of us and a reliable ally.

She overcame the discovery of her scam and the huge loss that it created for her and funneled her energy into helping other victims in Germany and around the world. Countless victims owe their recovery to her tireless work. Even while in her final stages of cancer she was there for other victims doing her best to help them see the light at the end of the tunnel.
