We're just one week away from Fentanyl Awareness Day! Join us for a screening of "The New Drug Talk," followed by a panel discussion featuring special guests Wendy Blair Stephan, PhD, and Fred DiMarco.

Wendy Blair Stephan is an educator and epidemiologist for the Florida Poison Information Center in Miami. Wendy has been dedicated to promoting the use of poison control and preventing various types of poisonings, including those from medication, household chemicals, and overdose. She holds a PhD in Epidemiology and a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Miami. Wendy has also chaired the Public Education Committee of the American Association of Poison Control Centers.

Fred DiMarco was drafted into the opioid epidemic war on 3/9/15, becoming the poster child Dad of stigma and ignorance surrounding the chronic brain disease of addiction. Tragically, he lost his son Nicholas Jordan DiMarco to a fentanyl-laced he**in accidental overdose. Since then, Fred, along with many others, has been dedicated to stemming the tide of this affliction by spreading knowledge of the disease and providing avenues for education and treatment.
