Through the Young Women’s Breast Cancer Program, patients have opportunities to participate in tumor biorepository and FLEX registry trials, helping researchers better understand breast cancer in younger women while expanding access to emerging therapies.

Philanthropy brings new possibilities to pediatric oncology patients at Baptist Health Herbert Wertheim Cancer Institute by supporting access to innovative care, research and resources for children facing cancer.

This includes opportunities to participate in clinical trials exploring promising new approaches, such as a Phase I/II study combining targeted therapy with radiation for children and young adults with certain brain tumors. Access to research like this gives young patients more opportunities to benefit from emerging approaches to treatment while contributing to discoveries that may shape the future of pediatric cancer care.
