We formed our organization of men to provide sensible solutions for women and children in need.

We've consistently grown since then, all thanks to the helping hands of this amazing community!

Men in Pink are getting to work - Moving, Cleaning, Painting, Organizing the Lotus House Thrift Chic Boutique!

We’ll have two shifts: 10a-1p and 12p-3p (with pizza lunch between!)

LHTCB is the donation center for the Lotus House Women’s Shelter, real world job training program and has been voted one of the top Thrift Stores in Miami! Every purchase makes a difference in the lives of women, youth and children experiencing homelessness in our community.

We’ll be using our “ManPower” to give the Thrift Shop a much-needed face-lift for the residents, staff and customers. Items donated to the Thrift Shop are sold to benefit Lotus House or are used to furnish the transition homes of families graduating from the shelter system to affordable housing.

Men in Pink is thrilled to announce our new Community Partnership with Miami Diaper Bank! We’ll be hosting a Diaper Distribution Day

Miami Diaper Bank mission is to fills the gap in services by connecting Baby diapers and baby essentials to vulnerable Children, providing immediate relief, and raising awareness about diaper need in South Florida.

The government does not recognize diapers as a basic need. Since diapers are not eligible for federally subsidized programs like Food Stamps or W.I.C, the cost of diapers puts an enormous financial strain on struggling families just trying to make ends meet. It’s nearly impossible for low-income families to afford enough clean diapers for their children without the help of organizations like Miami Diaper Bank.

It’s reported that almost 1 in 2 American families (46%) have to choose between diapers and other basic needs like food. No parent should ever have to choose between providing these basic necessities for their family.

Come join your fellow Men in Pink for an impactful and fulfilling day distributing diapers to families in need.

Such a crafty and fun Dr Seuss-themed Read Across America activity with the bright and energetic Head Start kids at reading and making puppets with children and their parents!
