We were honored to have Miami Beach Mayor Steven Meiner, City Commissioners Tanya Bhatt and Laura Dominguez, county commissioner Vicki Lopez, and former Mayor Matti Herrera Bower join us for the occasion. Building strong relationships with our elected officials is critical to making our voices heard on the issues that matter most to our community.

If you have personal experiences with our City’s permit process, if you are interested in how we can improve it, if you are tired of red tape and ridiculous fees which cost time and money, please attend this important meeting.

This is an important discussion for our entire City. We believe the City is looking for real life experience and potential solutions.

This process is broken unless you are a big time developer or have an expeditor. Why don’t we know what an expeditor or developer does and how do we clear the way for the many architects, designers, engineers, and every other every day person? Those are our questions.

The West Lincoln Road Non-Transient Residential Use Incentives virtual public meeting, which was scheduled for Thursday, January 29, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 24 at 6 p.m.

Beginning at midnight on Monday, January 26 through Thursday, January 29, one southbound lane on Collins Avenue between the 4700 block and just south of the municipal lot at 44 St. will be closed continuously for drainage work. Motorists will be directed to merge into the center southbound lane and continue south. At least one lane will remain open at all times.

Miami-Dade County Animal Services, in partnership with Commissioner Laura Dominguez and Miami-Dade County Commissioner Micky Steinberg, is offering free mobile veterinary care for owned dogs and cats in Miami Beach.
