Its official the River Valley Loop Trail System is now open!

Park and Rides are located

Rumford ATV
Rumford Falls Hill
(RT2 AND South Rumford rd) Rumford

Mexico ATV riders
Hiram lodge
(795 River Rd) Mexico
Don't park near buildings or in front of conex

This trail is signed in both directions no map needed ! The polaris ride command map app is also a great tool. And its free

2026 season is now open! With a few closures

PERU TRAIL will remain closed until Peru Atv open their system !
Signs are up!

MEXICO LEDGE TRAIL is closed from Backingdom rd to Mexico Ledge due to construction of a new re route. You can still connect by using in town access route to Swift River Trail. You can still get to the ledge to enjoy the views!

RIVER VALLEY LOOP TRAIL SYSTEM is not 100% open with Peru atv being closed. Plan accordingly!

2026 municipal grant projects will be kicking off in July! We are excited to finally be getting to the LOWER Webb River Trail it hasn't had anything done to it in years! Peru trail and Ledge trail are both getting maintenance as well

Our amazing landowners would like us to wait until June 1st to open the trail system.

Sunday (May 24th) we will be doing some trail maintenance and inspections. if anyone would like to help out please feel free to reach out to Steve Averill

If anyone wants to get out a ride this weekend the
River valley riders club (Dixfield) is open and has about 8 to 10 miles of trail and Rocky Mountain Terrain Park is always open.

There is a young man that has been seen riding the trail system the game wardens have been contacted!

Please be respectful of our landowners! Yes its still wet we need warm windy days!

We are doing everything we can to have the trails open for Memorial day weekend but thats up to the Landowners. not the club or the kid on the yellow wheeler.

Well folks thats a wrap!

OUR TRAIL SYSTEM IS NOW CLOSED

Thank you landowners, members, volunteers and our contractors for an amazing season!

I wanna thank Diane Meier Maher for all she did for us this season while dealing with some health issues. You are a Rockstar!

2026 Municipal grant projects:

Lower Webb River Trail
Peru Trail
Ledge Trail
Will get some maintenance and excavation.
Still in talks about a trail north to Roxbury

Was just told by Brian Milligan that we have to close some of our trail system due to a landowner agreement November 1st! Please respect signage!

All Wagner trails are closed for the season! ill be putting out signs tomorrow

This will close off access to Dixfield from the Backingdom rd to crosstown trail and the ledge trail are closed!

RIVER VALLEY LOOP TRAIL IS CLOSED!

Rumford and Peru closing their system this will close the loop for the season! Thank landowners for allowing us to use this 80 mile loop
