** AT THIS TIME ON SUNDAY ** The park behind the Tenney Gatehouse on Pleasant Street will be filled with activity. Civil War and WWII reeneactors, hands on activities and historical exhibits will fill this space. JOIN US from 10 am - 3 pm for a walk -- and a ride -- through 300 years of Methuen's history.
Recommended parking is next door at City Hall, the public parking area and Central School on Lawrence St. Limited On street parking is allowed on Charles St., Park St. & Lawrence St, not on Pleasant Street.

***TAKE A RIDE THROUGH HISTORY***
As part of the Day of History, there will be guided bus tours available to visit other sites such as the Nevins Library and Five Corners-Rail Trail to learn some other stories from the last 300 years. Leaving from Methuen Museum of History at the Tenney Gatehouse on Pleasant Street.

This Memorial Day, as we remember those who did not make it home from war, we celebrate in freedom they left us. During both World Wars, residents of Methuen, like others across the USA, were encouraged to grow their own food to help prevent food shortages. Learn more about this at Methuen 300th Anniversary "DAY OF HISTORY" on SATURDAY, MAY 30 from 10 AM - 3 PM at the Tenney Gatehouse and grounds on Pleasant Street.
