Last week, we had the honor of awarding a Colleen E. Ritzer Inspire Kindness Scholarship to Isla Black, a Gloucester High School graduating senior. Isla's dad is a teacher at Danvers High School, where he worked with Colleen. Isla will be attending Penn State University in the Fall and will be pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering. Last week, we had the honor of awarding 8 graduating seniors from Danvers High School scholarships in Colleen’s name. Please join us in congratulating them. The recipients of the Colleen E. Ritzer Memorial Scholarships, who will be pursuing a degree in education, are: Grace Angeramo, Piper Brett, Ava Broderick, Olivia Marshall, Allison McGinnity, and John Murphy. Recipients of the Colleen E. Ritzer Inspire Kindness Scholarship are: Brenna Newton and Josie Vogel. Congratulations to all of them. Last night, May 28th, we had the honor of presenting 10 graduating seniors from Andover High School, scholarships in Colleen’s name. Please join us in congratulating them. The recipients of the Colleen E. Ritzer Memorial Scholarships, who will be pursuing a degree in education, are: Kailey Coughlin, Kayleigh Kiberd-Rosi, Molly Mulhern, Benjamin Pelt, and Jordan Shirley. Recipients of the Colleen E. Ritzer Inspire Kindness Scholarship are: Alivia Baldwin, Benjamin Falk, Hazel Faulkner, Nicole Flanagan, and Alyssa Walsh. Congratulations to all of them. We look forward to seeing what their futures hold as they carry on Colleen's legacy!

The month of May is coming to a close, and so is one of our favorite fundraisers! Through May 31, enjoy a refreshing pink beverage at a local McDonald's and you'll also be supporting the Colleen E. Congratulations to Kim Solt, who will receive a Citizens Who Care award tonight from Rotary Club of Andover. In addition to her volunteer work for Andona, Andover Public Schools, The Mother Connection, and countless others, Kim has served as a team captain for every Step Up for Colleen 5K. She's pictured here with her husband, Michael, in 2018 ("West is Best") and with our volunteer coordinator, Lynn, in 2026 ("Shawsheen Sharks"). The world needs more kind people like Kim! 💕
