This Indigenous Peoples Day Arizona, we are excited to welcome Maria Cisneros-Smallcanyon, joining us from Queen Creek, Arizona, to share her gift of poetry and heartfelt expression!

Maria brings her voice, her creativity, and her unique perspective to a space where Indigenous stories are honored, celebrated, and heard.

Because poetry is more than words on a page. It can be a heartbeat, a memory, a truth waiting to be spoken, and a reminder of the strength carried through generations.

What futures do we envision for our Indigenous communities? Join us at the 11th Annual Indigenous Peoples Day Arizona gathering for a conversation featuring voices in education, activism, and youth advocacy.

Feel the music. Connect with the story. Join us as One Way Sky takes the stage at the 11th Annual Indigenous Peoples Day Arizona gathering!

Born on the homelands of the Gila River Indian Community and the Tohono O’odham Nation, One Way Sky brings alternative rock rooted in identity, resilience, and the spirit of the Sonoran Desert. 🌵🌅

Formed in 2019 by Adrian D Thomas, Cody Bruguier, Lomakoyva Manuel, and Damien Carlos, the band creates music that speaks to belonging, healing, and self-discovery—from their debut single, “Indian Route 15,” to their EP, Soul Searcher.

Through raw vocals and powerful rhythms, these REZ kids share their own stories while honoring the sacrifices and prayers of those who came before them.

Come celebrate Indigenous voices, turn up the energy, and share in a sound that reaches for the stars! 🤘🌌

Get ready for heavy riffs, bold rhymes, and powerful sister energy at the 11th Annual Indigenous Peoples Day Arizona gathering! 🤘🎤

Meet LOBATOMY, a metal/rap sister duo featuring Faleen Lobato on melodies and vocals and Felizy Lobato on rap and vocals. Their sound brings together Heavy Metal, Rap, Nu Metal, Grunge, Rock, and Electronic music.

Indigenous Colorado natives of Native American, Mexican, and Spanish descent, the sisters dreamed of making music together since childhood and began writing together in 2020. Their singles “Heart 2 Heart,” “Lost Girlz,” and “When Wolvez Howl” are just the beginning!

Join us on Monday, October 12 for a day of learning, creativity, and celebration as we mark 11 years of gathering and making space for our community.

Our theme, “As Long As The Sun Shines,” honors our shared responsibility to the earth, the water, one another, and future generations. We are still here. We remember. We create. We continue.
