Ben and Mindy Noble both come from long time Mesa families. They met at MCC in choir, and have enjoyed singing together ever since. They have directed and put on many children's musical variety shows over the past 25 years. They have 7 children who also love to sing and have performed in those many shows and more.
Favorite family memory:
"Driving home once, the kids were quite loud, and as we could not hear each other talking, we listened and realized every kid had chosen a different song and their own pitch, and were blissfully singing at the top of their lungs. We just looked at each other and laughed wondering, 'What have we created?' "

Come and enjoy the wonderful talents of the Noble Family!

Jennie Rhodes' studio comprises adult violinists who began playing as children and either continued their training or returned to it later in life—finding it as rewarding now as it was then. Many are active contributors to the region's musical life, serving as school orchestra directors, private instructors, members of community and regional orchestras, freelance performers, and church musicians. Sunday's program will present both classical and sacred works, reflecting the proficiency and depth these players bring to their music. Jennie brings over 25 years of performance and teaching experience to her work with these musicians, dedicated to the broader principle affirmed by this recital: that worthwhile musical development is not confined to childhood, and that the rewards of artistic growth, performance, and community only deepen with continued pursuit. Join us this Sunday at 6:30pm at the Mesa Arizona Temple Visitor's Center. This event is free and open to the public.

The words above each temple entrance are more than just a reminder that this is the house of the Lord. This sacred inscription connects our modern worship directly back to ancient biblical times.

In the book of Exodus, the Lord commanded Moses to engrave "Holiness to the Lord" onto a plate of pure gold, placed on the forehead of the High Priest's turban (Exodus 28:36). It was a powerful visual reminder that the priests, their clothing, and the ancient Tabernacle were completely "set apart" from the world for God's holy purposes.

Today, that same phrase is moved from the forehead of the priest to the very doorway of the temple.

When we walk under those words today, it serves as a beautiful threshold marker. It invites us to leave the noise, distractions, and heavy burdens of the world outside, reminding us that we are entering a sanctuary entirely dedicated to Jesus Christ.

Next time you visit the temple grounds or prepare to enter, take a moment to look up at those words. Let them be a gentle reminder of the peace, purity, and holiness the Lord offers us inside His house.

The Maxson family loves any chance to get to share their love of music together! Music is the language of their home. Tyler and Linsey spent much of their early years together performing. Their favorites were Beauty and The Beast, Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat, and The Scarlet Pimpernel to name a few. They feel super blessed to have been on the original recording of The Lamb of God as the narrator and Martha as well as the new Easter Pageant recording, both composed by Rob Gardner. Now much of their time is spent watching their kids perform on stage in musicals or rock band concerts! Find them on instagram: Linsey Maxson Tyler Maxson

Making music is one of the favorite pastimes of the Petersen Family! As a familywith six children, spontaneous singing and harmonizing happens quite often, andwhen an instrument is played, other family members jump in and join a fun and
creative musical environment! One of the Petersen Family traditions has beento put on musical programs for local rest-homes: from patriotic or folk songs, tospiritual or Christmas programs. At Christmas time, caroling to neighbors and friends has become a family priority. During the pandemic, they stretched theirmusical limits more, and found it especially fun to sing choral music with many
parts. As the family has grown, more family members have been welcomed in asthe older children have chosen spouses. These new family members havehappily joined their voices in this fun-filled family choir!

Come hear the Peterson family this Sunday, September 13th at 6:30pm at the Mesa Temple Visitor's Center.
