The gardens at the Mesa Arizona Temple were thoughtfully designed to reflect both the spirit of the Arizona desert and the worldwide nature of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Throughout the grounds, you’ll find native desert plants that thrive in the Southwest alongside flowers, trees, and greenery more commonly found in other parts of the world. Together, they symbolize people of many cultures, backgrounds, and nations gathering in one peaceful place through faith in Jesus Christ.

In the middle of the desert, the lush gardens create a beautiful contrast — a reminder that peace, hope, and spiritual growth can flourish even in difficult places.
