The FTFC × CommHIT MIH Partner Lab begins next week—June 1–3 in Fort Lauderdale.
Three days of focused MIH collaboration with Fire Rescue, health systems, and community partners ready to move the work forward.

If you haven’t registered yet, now’s the time.
Registration: https://firsttherefirstcare.com/

And because the conference isn’t ALL work…
Next Wednesday night is the Social Gala, with a Pirates & Sirens theme🧜‍♀️🏴‍☠️
If you’re joining us, think gold hoops, bandanas, nautical stripes, shimmery makeup, blue and green tones, or seashell jewelry. Whether you go bold or subtle, the theme is all about creativity and connection.

And speaking of showing up with style—here’s Talia Hunter CP-C, CCHW from Coral Springs–Parkland Fire Department, one of the MIH Partner Lab planners, dressed for last year’s Roaring 20s theme. She brought the energy then, and she’s bringing it again this year!

Some moments stay with you forever.

This 15-year-old throwback photo of CommHIT CEO Kendra Siler, PhD’s son—a small hand reaching out to a Fire Rescue professional—captures the heart of National EMS Week. It’s a reminder that behind every call, every response, and every uniform is someone who shows up for our communities with courage and compassion.

To all Fire Rescue and EMS teams: thank you for the lives you steady, the families you support, and the moments of trust you create without ever expecting recognition.

As we honor National EMS Week, we’re also focused on strengthening the systems that support you. That’s the purpose of the FTFC x CommHIT MIH Partner Lab June1-3: bringing agencies together to build what’s next in Mobile Integrated Health.

Your work inspires ours.

Florida’s MIH landscape is being shaped through shared conversations among counties with different levels of Mobile Integrated Health maturity and nationally recognized MIH experts. CommHIT convenes leaders from counties of all sizes with purpose, giving even the most rural communities a clearer path to a flourishing MIH program.

Nassau County Health Officer Cara Gluck and Community Health Director Hope Duggan shared how peering into Dixie County’s MIH model helped shape their own vision—especially the impact a single community paramedic or CHW can have in a rural county.

The takeaway: when we gather with intention down to the last detail, everyone moves forward.

To keep that momentum, CommHIT is joining forces with FTFC once again on June 1–3 in Ft. Lauderdale. No matter your starting point, if you’re serious about MIH, the FTFC x CommHIT MIH Partner Lab is where you need to be.

CommHIT serves as a steward of Florida’s Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) ecosystem, helping intentional and financially viable initiatives take root and grow across the state.

In this clip, Bill Nice and James Milford of Alachua County’s MIH program share how the statewide MIH meetings hosted at CommHIT’s Kennedy Space Center headquarters help Alachua County Fire Rescue strengthen and advance their MIH program.

These gatherings provide MIH programs statewide the opportunity to incorporate new and refined approaches to support health in the communities they serve and cherish.

Hear from CommHIT Partner Chief Darian Brown of Dixie County Fire Rescue.

Dixie County covers more than 700 square miles with no local hospital, yet Chief Brown and his team continue to deliver steady, community‑focused Mobile Integrated Health for their residents. Their community paramedicine program has helped reduce repeat 911 calls, support chronic‑care needs, and connect people to the right resources close to home.

In this clip, Chief Brown shares what MIH looks like in one of Florida’s most rural counties and how his team is meeting residents where they are.

At CommHIT events, dialogue is intentional—and becomes orchestrated action. PAHCOM - Professional Association of Health Care Office Management Executive Director and CommHIT partner Karen Blanchette captured this clearly: “CommHIT executes on the things that we plan and talk about and work on here. It’s the ex*****on. The CommHIT team—they have that wired.”

To her, the community that CommHIT brings together functions as an alignment engine: purpose sharpens, connections lock in, and momentum builds because the environment is designed for acceleration.

That’s the pattern we carry into FTFC x CommHIT MIH Partner Lab in June and CommHIT26 in December—not a gathering, but a field of shared direction, where leaders treat conversation as the first signal of ex*****on and collective impact emerges from coordinated intent.
