Stories like Buck’s are exactly what we will be about with Herbie’s Hope Project. Let’s give this boy the help and love he deserves.
Come out to Sawmill Brewing Company on Tuesday, May 6th for Doggie Social Hour
Ashley will be behind the bar and all tips will be donated to Buck’s care.
Additionally, John will be set up outside with Tails-a-Wagon so you can bring your fur baby and pick out a treasure.

This beautiful boy was being given away for free on Facebook with another dog in his home. I try to step in when I have kennel space, because we all know what kind of homes these free dogs end up in….
The family decided to keep the young pup, but wanted to give up the senior dog who has been sick for a year and a half.
He went to the vet today and we sent blood off. Depending on those results, we will take additional X-rays and ultrasounds to compare to previous vetting the prior owner did.
Sometimes diagnosing animals (and people) can be tricky and not straightforward. Often it will take multiple appointments and trials to see what works. I think in general we need to have patience with our veterinarians and their technicians, they’re just trying to help our furry friends ♥️
As for Buck, he’s 8 years young. We would love to find out what’s wrong with him, correct it and find him a forever home. However if that’s not in the cards, we will make sure he’s loved till the end ♥️
