Idaho PTA The Idaho Congress of Parents and Teachers is an educational organization that seeks to unite the for To raise the standards of home life.

PTA'S Purpose: To promote the welfare of the children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship. To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth. To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth. To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.

Artificial intelligence is already part of our children’s world and Idaho schools are now working to determine what responsible use of that technology should look like in the classroom. During the 2026 legislative session, Idaho lawmakers passed SB 1227 which directs the Idaho Department of Education to develop a framework addressing AI use in K-12 education.
