Quick fundraising update on our big Bike MS event that happened in Logan, UT at the end of June. The event has raised $560,000 towards our ambitious goal of $900,000! Fundraising continues for this event and I hear that we are on track for hitting that goal! Our local Boise team, Team WinCo exceeded out team goal and has raised $52,000 - good for 2nd place overall in team fundraising. Thank you to all who donated to and supported this event! Hi all, thought I'd share some great photos from Walk MS - Treasure Valley 2025! The event ended up raising $60,000 towards our goal of $90,000 - which is great, but we have some ground to make up next year :) It was great seeing you all! All photos taken by Brent Cheffings.

Hi all, check out this great show tonight at the Visual Arts Collective in Garden City. The show is a benefit in memory of Karen Conant Hatton, who we lost recently to complications of MS. I don't know the family well, but met Karen's husband and daughter last night - wonderful folks who are coming together to do some good here. Show is free to the public, donations collected at the door.

Just had an amazing, busy, fun, and meaningful weekend for Walk MS! Starting on Thursday, we had great fundraisers at Boise Brewing and Zee's Rooftop on Friday. Also had an in-person MS Society Board of Trustees meeting in Boise Friday afternoon, a Trustee breakfast Saturday at The Griddle, Good Cookin' Since 1948 and finally - Walk MS (Oh, and a post-walk Greenbelt ride!). We're currently sitting at $60,000 towards our event goal of $90,000 - so we still have some work to do there. A huge Thank You to all of my friends and colleagues who travelled from Salt Lake City for the event - and to all of you who donated and supported our great partners at Boise Brewing this month. I will update you all with final event numbers over the coming weeks! And - you can still donate, please visit my page below, or hit my Facebook fundraiser.

HI all - the Boise Bicycle Project has "LOTS" of adaptive bicycles and tricycles at the moment! If you would like more information, see below. What a great, affordable way to get an adaptive bike/trike, ready-to-ride and serviced by great mechanics.

Ryan Jones passed away yesterday morning from complications due to his MS. His fight was valiant and not for the weary. He was very proud to be a part of the Treasure Valley MS Community Council and Board Member for Treasure Valley MS Community Partners.
During Ryan’s life he wore many hats, father, brother, son, uncle, husband, artist, teammate, coworker, but to many he was our friend.
He was too proud to ask for help, but was always the first one when you needed a helping hand.
His bbq’s were legendary and his smile infectious.
He had a green thumb and his gardens looked straight out of a magazine. There was always a seat at his table.
He was an artist and a Jack of all trades.
His humor was dry and perfectly inappropriate.
He never turned down an Old Fashion or embarrassingly a White Claw
He was always up for an adventure or a quiet night in front of a campfire.
When he played the piano it filled the room and he sang show tunes a little too loud.
He loved with his whole soul and wore his heart on his sleeve.
He lived life to the fullest. He didn’t want to leave his mark on this world. Didn’t want to make a fuss. Just wanted to be surrounded by those he loved, and the ones that loved him back.
The world is a little dimmer today because he shone so bright. He fought so hard and so long. Tonight he can sleep with the angels and hug the ones who paved the way before him.
If you have a memory or have a picture to share, please comment below.
Hug the ones you love tonight a little closer.
Remember that ladybugs are lucky and to always make a wish when a butterfly lands on you.
Love you always and forever my friend.
