Spirit of America To instill confidence & foster the Spirit of teamwork in our youth. Safety is priority ONE for the Spirit of America and our facilitating organizations.

Underlying goals include developing self-esteem while nurturing responsible behavior & positive, lifelong ambitions. 'No Child Left At The Dock' Americas Premier Youth Boating Education Spirit of America remains dedicated and committed to continuing our leadership role in advancing the promotion of National traditional core-based education and on water skills and knowledge based standards of educa

tion in all disciplines. We introduce young people to several different types and sizes of watercraft and water based activities in all three disciplines; sail, paddle, and power, all of which nurture responsible behavior, only after the students successfully complete a State Approved classroom boating safety education course. These young children also successfully complete a drowning prevention and equipment awareness water safety competency curriculum prior to their time on the water. Based on a hands-on program, Spirit of America empowers our youth, in a non-traditional classroom setting, to dare to dream, while meeting the underlying goals of developing self esteem, teamwork, safe seamanship, boating and water safety practices, and responsible behavior in our young adults. We provide introduction to water-based recreational activities in an ideal environment and in a way for our students to learn, react and develop lifelong learning skills in a unique, safe and educational environment. We are dedicated to the promotion of SAFE participation in all water and boating related recreational activities. We know that being near the water can calm us and connect children their families and communities and that being near the water can reduce stress, amplify creativity and increase innovation and insight. Our program becomes an integral part of America's communities and provides them with a sustainable resource of education and recreation for all generations, inspiring a lifelong stewardship of our natural resources. By offering a critically important program, for the in and out of school hours in an informal and nontraditional environment, we continue to advance social and life skill development.
