📢New policy. 📢 Every rescue has to decide where its limited foster homes, volunteer hours, and resources will have the greatest impact.

At The Comeback Pack, we've made the decision to focus on the dogs who have no one else. The ones abandoned, neglected, overlooked in shelters, or simply out of time. Those are the dogs who need us most.

That's why, as a general rule, we don't accept owner surrenders simply because someone no longer wants or has time for their dog. We believe bringing a dog into your family is a lifelong commitment, and we'd rather help you keep that commitment than help you walk away from it.

That doesn't mean we believe everyone who needs to rehome a dog is a bad person. Life can change in heartbreaking ways. Medical emergencies, the death of an owner, and other extraordinary circumstances happen, and sometimes rehoming truly is in a dog's best interest. When that's the case, we'll do everything we reasonably can to help or connect you with resources.

This policy isn't about judgment. It's about making the best use of the limited space we have. Every foster home we fill with a dog that still has options is one less foster home available for a dog who has none.

If you're struggling with your dog, please don't give up before asking for help. Reach out. We may be able to connect you with training resources, behavior guidance, or other support that helps keep your family together.

Because our mission isn't just to rescue dogs—it's to help the dogs who need us most. ❤️

🚨 FOSTER NEEDED BY TONIGHT FOR SAMSON 🚨

Our friends at Feeding Perris Strays urgently need a foster for this handsome boy, and we want to help.

If we can find a foster by tonight, The Comeback Pack will step up and take Samson. But there's no time to waste.

Samson is already neutered, vaccinated, house trained, and we're told he's great with kids, cats, and other dogs. He has everything going for him—he just needs someone willing to open their home while we find him the forever family he deserves.

📍 Fosters must be located near Murrieta, CA. If you'd like to adopt Samson instead, long-distance adoptions are welcome.

This is a casual, family-friendly, no-pressure gathering where you can meet Sam & Dean, spend time with our foster dogs, ask questions about fostering or adopting, or simply stop by for some free puppy snuggles.

Please note: There will be no on-site adoptions. If one of these boys steals your heart, you'll still complete our normal adoption application and approval process so we can make the best lifelong match.
