The Wadena SWCD is hosting a free nitrate water testing clinic for anyone in the area that uses a well for drinking water.

🚴🎉 Let’s Give the MS Ride Across Minnesota Riders a BIG Menahga Welcome! 🎉🚴

The Menahga C&C is excited to be hosting the MS Ride Across Minnesota! The cyclists will be rolling back into Menahga on Friday, July 31, between 11:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., arriving on the south side of the Menahga High School.

These riders have traveled hundreds of miles to raise money and awareness for people living with Multiple Sclerosis. Let’s show them what our amazing community is all about!

🥁 Noisemakers
🎉 Smiles and encouragement!

A few moments of cheering can make a huge difference to riders who have been pushing themselves all week. Let’s line the route and help give them the energy to finish strong!

❤️ Come out, make some noise, and let’s show these incredible cyclists that Menahga is cheering them on every mile of the way!

The Menahga Police Department is excited to host National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, and we'd love to have our local businesses and organizations be a part of this great community event!

If your business or organization has something fun, educational, or interactive to offer, we invite you to join us. Some ideas include:
• Games or activities for kids
• Giveaways or promotional items
• Safety demonstrations
• Information booths
• Equipment or vehicle displays
• Food, snacks, or refreshments
• Anything else that helps bring our community together!

National Night Out is all about strengthening the relationship between law enforcement and the community while creating a fun, family-friendly evening for everyone.

Volunteers Needed for Bike MS: Ride Across Minnesota!

For the first time in the event's 36-year history, the Menahga Civic & Commerce Association is proud to host Bike MS: Ride Across Minnesota from July 27–31.

We're looking for community volunteers to help make this event a success!

Volunteer Opportunities:

Monday, July 27 | 5:30–8:30 AM
• 4–5 volunteers needed to help load riders' luggage onto the truck.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Friday, July 31
• 6:30–8:00 AM: 6–8 volunteers needed.
• 11:00 AM–4:00 PM: Up to 10 volunteers for our Finish Line Cheer Squad! (Shifts can be split.)

If you'd like to lend a hand and welcome hundreds of riders to Menahga, we'd love to have you join us!

What a way to end an unforgettable Menahga Midsummer Celebration!

What an incredible weekend celebrating the 2026 Menahga Midsummer Celebration together!

A heartfelt thank you to our generous sponsors, dedicated volunteers, event organizers, local businesses, performers, parade participants, vendors, and everyone who helped bring this community tradition to life.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us. Whether you attended the parade, enjoyed the live music, cheered on the runners, explored the activities, watched the fireworks over Spirit Lake, or simply spent time with family and friends in our town—you made this celebration truly special.

Community events like Midsummer are only possible because of people who give their time, talents, and support to make Menahga such a wonderful place to live and visit.

Congratulations to Our Most Patriotic Parade Float Winner!

A big congratulations to West Central Sebeka, represented by staff member Josh Casavan and his son, for receiving the Most Patriotic Float Award during the 2026 Menahga Midsummer Grand Parade!

As part of this year's celebration of America's 250th Anniversary, their float proudly captured the spirit of patriotism, community, and hometown pride.

They were presented with a 3' × 5' American Flag, generously donated by Menahga C&C Association member Greener Tomorrows.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's parade and helped make the 2026 Menahga Midsummer Celebration such a memorable weekend.
