✨ Meet the Founder & Executive Director ✨

Hi! I’m Danielle Watts-Graham, Founder and Executive Director of Robbin’s Helping Hand.

People often ask what inspired this organization. The truth is, there wasn’t just one moment—it was a series of experiences that shaped its mission.

Caring for my mom during her battle with breast cancer showed me how overwhelming everyday responsibilities can become when someone is focused on treatment, recovery, or simply making it through the day. After losing her, I knew I wanted to honor her legacy in a meaningful way.

As the owner of a professional cleaning company, I continued to witness those same challenges in the homes of individuals and families living with chronic illness and disabilities. On several occasions, I found myself cleaning the homes of cancer patients at no cost because it simply felt like the right thing to do.

Those experiences became the foundation of Robbin’s Helping Hand.

Today, our mission is to provide free home cleanings and Essential Support Bundles that bring comfort, dignity, and relief to individuals and families navigating chronic illness and disabilities. We believe that no one should have to choose between caring for their health and keeping up with household responsibilities.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Whether you’ve volunteered, donated, shared our mission, or simply followed along, you’re helping us make a difference—one home at a time.

Today we completed Home #13.

Our recipient is a diabetic amputee.

As we worked, we noticed she was using a towel in her shower because she didn’t have a bath mat to help prevent slipping. We also saw that she had very little space for her daily hygiene items.

Sometimes serving looks like more than cleaning. It looks like paying attention.

Before we left, we purchased and provided a non-slip shower mat and a small bathroom organizer—simple items that can make everyday routines a little safer and a little easier.

Our goal isn’t just to clean homes. It’s to care for the people who call it home. 🧡🩵

🧡🩵 Introducing: Beyond the Diagnosis

Behind every diagnosis is a person, a family, and a story.

Through Robbin’s Helping Hand, I’ve had the privilege of meeting individuals living with chronic illnesses and disabilities. Their stories have taught me that many of their greatest challenges aren’t always visible.

Beginning in August, Beyond the Diagnosis will be a monthly series exploring different chronic illnesses and disabilities, the realities of living with them, and how we can better support those affected.

My hope is simple: to replace assumptions with understanding and awareness with compassion.

Because every diagnosis has a story—and every story deserves compassion. 💙

Today we celebrate the woman whose heart inspired it all.

Happy Heavenly Birthday to my mom, Robbin Merritt. Today, she would have turned 52.

Robbin’s Helping Hand exists because of the compassion, generosity, and servant’s heart she carried every day. While she is no longer here physically, her legacy continues through every home we clean, every family we serve, and every act of kindness shared in her honor.

The greatest gift we can give today is to continue the work she inspired—to show up for others with dignity, compassion, and love.

Providing a clean, healthy home starts with maintaining a safe environment for everyone involved.

To better protect the health of our team, we kindly ask that no smoking occurs inside the home during scheduled visits.

If heavy smoke residue presents a health concern for our team, we may need to decline services or discuss reasonable accommodations before moving forward.

Today we completed our 10th Robbin's Helping Hand home.

Behind each home is someone facing challenges most of us never see—illness, disability, caregiving, or simply needing a helping hand. It has been an honor to step into these homes, provide practical support, and remind each recipient that they are seen and valued.

Thank you to every donor, supporter, and person who has shared our mission. Because of you, we're cleaning with care and serving with heart—one home at a time.
