š¤ In Memory of Xeus
Not every member of a conservation project plants trees or clears invasive plants.
Some simply remind us why we care in the first place.
Xeus did that.
He protected my family for 11 years, faithfully.
He brought smiles to children, comfort to visitors, and reminded us that every animal has valueā¦not because of what it can do for us, but because it is part of the world weāre working to protect.
His time with us was far too short, but his impact will last much longer.
As we continue restoring habitats, creating spaces for wildlife, and reconnecting people with nature, weāll carry a little of Xeusā spirit with us.
Rest easy, buddy. Thank you for the joy you brought to so many.
āPatience is a conservation practice.ā
