92 degrees in Memphis today… and we’re already thinking about FREEZING WATER! That’s right—Ski Freeze 2027 is just around the corner! And this year is going to be a BIG one!

New Year’s Day 2027 marks the 50TH ANNIVERSARY of the Ski Freeze! For 50 years, crazy (and brave!) water skiers have kicked off the New Year "Memphis-style"—by hitting the water when most sane people are still sitting on the couch drinking coffee!

We’re excited to unveil our brand-new 50th Anniversary Ski Freeze logo (designed by Michael at Bigit Designs) and can’t wait to celebrate this incredible Memphis tradition with you. SAVE THE DATE: January 1, 2027

Stay tuned to our website and page for registration details and more information.

50 years. One legendary tradition. One very COLD way to start the New Year!

Ski Freeze 2026 was outstanding! A great turnout of skiers, bikers, and spectators. It will go down as one of the best attended ever. We raised over $30,000 NET, which will grant a number of Dreams in 2026.

The folks from Valor and Vision Photography took tons great event and ski action photos. You can access them from this link & download them at no cost. Thanks V&V!
