Good Morning,

Many of you have many important questions about our City's current water restriction.

Meanwhile, the latest update is as follows:

Germantown remains under an order to use water only for flushing toilets. Crews have worked overnight to resolve the issue resulting in restricted water usage.

Public Works is in the process of flushing and neutralizing the system with testing expected by late afternoon.

The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation must provide clearance before the restriction on water usage is lifted.

The City is working with suppliers to provide bottled water to those who are in critical need and unable to access bottled water on their own and/or do not have transportation. Information about a point of distribution will be provided as soon as confirmed.
