The Whitehaven High School community deserves answers. Approximately $1.2 million was raised on behalf of the children and families of Whitehaven. This includes about $880,000 in SchoolSeed funding that still remains "somewhere" along with the $460,000 that McCaskill returned to the County Commission.

The questions are simple: Where is this funding, and why has it not been made available to benefit the Whitehaven community as intended?

This is not just about dollars and cents. It is about accountability, transparency, and honoring the commitments made to the children and residents of Whitehaven. When funds are raised in the name of our community, the community has every right to know where those funds are, how they are being managed, and when they will be used for their intended purpose.

The continued lack of clear answers is a disservice to Whitehaven. Our community deserves transparency, accountability, and action.

While McCaskill is counting AP and Robotic Classes, he should be counting and distributing the funding owed to our kids, faculty, staff, and families in the Whitehaven Community.
