This weekend, the boys and moms of Make A Man Academy will be coming together for a special Mother’s Day photo experience at Crosstown Concourse!

We’re taking time to honor the love, strength, and sacrifices of our moms while capturing moments that will last a lifetime. These are the memories that matter.

Moments like this remind us what it truly means to serve, to lead, and to have compassion for others. Proud of these young men for stepping up and showing love to the community. 💙

This Saturday, Make A Man Academy is back in action for our Give Back Day! 🙌🏾

We’ll be out in Downtown Memphis serving lunch to the homeless!

📅 Saturday, May 2nd
🕛 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM

This is bigger than just handing out food… it’s about teaching our young men the value of service, compassion, and community.

We’ll have hot pizza, snacks, drinks, and snow cones for those in need and most importantly, we’ll be showing love. ❤️

⚠️ EVENT UPDATE – Make A Man Academy

Due to weather concerns, we will be rescheduling our homeless outreach in downtown Memphis.

But the mission doesn’t stop. 💪🏾

Tomorrow, we’ll be pouring into our young kings with a powerful “Know Your Values & Confidence Building” Workshop 🧠✨

⏰ 10 AM – 2 PM

This workshop is all about helping these young men understand their worth, build confidence, and continue growing into strong, disciplined leaders.

At Make A Man Academy, I don’t do this for clout… I do this for real change.

Behind every meetup, every lesson, every outing there are hours of planning, mentoring, and pouring into these young men. It’s not always seen, it’s not always celebrated, but it’s always intentional.

I understand that support often comes when success is visible, but I’m not waiting on recognition to do the work. Whether it’s a group of 5 or 50, I’m going to keep showing up, keep teaching, and keep building these boys into strong, disciplined, and respectful young men.

This is bigger than attention. This is about impact. This is about legacy.

April 18th, we’re taking it to the streets of downtown Memphis.

Make A Man Academy isn’t just talking about change we’re living it.

We’ll be out feeding the homeless, providing hot pizza, snacks, and self-care kits to those who need it most. But more importantly, we’re showing our young men what it truly means to serve, to lead, and to care for their community.

This is bigger than a meal.
This is about dignity.
This is about love in action.

This weekend was one for the books.

We took the young men of Make A Man Academy out fishing, and the joy on their faces said it all. For many of them, this was their first time casting a line,
and they didn’t just learn how to fish, they learned patience, focus, and the value of providing for themselves.

Moments like these matter. These are real life skills that go beyond the water. Fishing isn’t just a hobby, it’s a way to feed yourself, to feed your family, and to build confidence knowing you can rely on your own hands!
