"There are young people out there who need to be reached, who need to know what this is about, and who will eventually dedicate themselves to justice, to peace, to equality and to love." - Myrlie Evers-Williams

It was a pleasure having two outstanding community leaders attend our Community Forum on Youth Empowerment, Mike Williams and Thurston Smith. We'd also like to thank Thurston Smith for serving as program speaker. He was also gracious enough to field questions from the audience in regards to his campaign for Memphis City Council District 7 and honored one of the North Memphis' community leaders, Kenny Wiggins, with a community service award.
