The Bridge Street Paper

The Bridge Street Paper The Bridge is a nonprofit run entirely by college students dedicated to bridging the gap between the sheltered and homeless in the Memphis community.

Currently and formerly homeless vendors work as independently contracted salespeople and find employment by purchasing copies of the paper for a quarter each and selling the paper to the larger community for $1 each. Vendors keep one hundred percent of the profit and are stakeholders of The Bridge. Certified vendors can be identified by badges around their necks with the insignia of The Bridge and can be in many locations across Memphis.

It's Bridge Week! Bride week is one our biggest fundraisers of the year and we are so excited to get started. We have some very exciting events coming, starting with a Get to Know the Bridge day, today (check out our instagram ). Stay tuned for reminders and more information throughout the week!

If you'd like to support The Bridge directly, our venmo is listed at the bottom of the graphic below. All money made this week will go directly towards printing the paper so that we can keep The Bridge going!
