As part of Miraaj Academy, Sacred Seeds Elementary is the first aspiring accredited Qur’an-centered elementary program in Tennessee.

This is a meaningful step toward expanding access to high-quality Qur’anic education.

We’re honored to celebrate our founder, Dr. Hamzah Abdul-Malik, on earning his Doctor of Ministry in Islamic Leadership from Bayan Islamic Graduate School (an affiliate of Chicago Theological Seminary). 🎓

A milestone that reflects years of study, service, and a deep commitment to helping people connect with the Qur’an in a way that transforms their lives.

As beautifully put it:

“His writing holds something rare: the precision of a researcher and the warmth of a guide.

His doctoral work, exploring how the Qur’an transformed the lives of African American leaders, speaks to a truth his readers already know. That the Qur’an changes people. That it builds communities.

Most people think connection to the Qur’an comes from doing more.

But sometimes
 it comes from staying a little longer. Even one extra minute.

Allah says:
“And whoever honors the symbols of Allah—it is from the piety of the hearts.” (22:32)

Because when you start to honor something, it stops feeling like routine
 and starts feeling meaningful. 🌙
