The Economic Club of Memphis The Economic Club of Memphis was established to make a contribution by promoting the study and discussion of economic, political, and social issues.

-Provides a forum for leading citizens of Memphis to contribute to a better understanding of the economic, political and social issues facing us and linking us to the world.
-Provides members with a platform from which to make a contribution to the ideas and policies of this and

other nations.
-Provides six to eight meetings each year featuring nationally and internationally recognized speakers at prestigious locations.

Our Story

A crown jewel of Memphis, the Economic Club was established in 1973 by a group of business leaders who wanted a forum to exchange views, educate the members through enlightened speakers, and promote the well-being of our city. By encouraging a diverse membership from varying backgrounds, cultures, and business interests, The Economic Club of Memphis is a place where ideas are shared, perspectives are broadened, and friends are made. We have four primary goals:

-Provide an opportunity for Mid-South business leaders to exchange views with influential people from around the world. -Provide a forum for leading citizens of Memphis to contribute to a better understanding of the economic, political and social issues facing us and linking us to the world. -Provide members with a platform from which to make a contribution to the ideas and policies of this and other nations. -Provide six to eight meetings each year featuring nationally and internationally recognized speakers at prestigious locations.
