V&E Greenline The V&E Greenline is a 1.7-mile rails-to-trails park that is owned by the neighborhood. The park is maintained by volunteers and donations.

The V&E Greenline is privately owned by the V&E Greenline Community Corporation and managed by the V&E Greenline Committee of VECA. Both the corporation and committee give permission for others to use the land for passive recreational purposes—except in those cases where the use or user is prohibited. Anyone who uses the V&E Greenline accepts the limitations and regulations imposed by both the corporation and committee. The V&E is not supported with City, County, State, or Federal funding. It is supported with private donations by neighbors of VECA and other users.

Good evening friends & neighbors! We hope y'all are starting to get ready for an exciting day at this year's ArtWalk on Saturday ✨
It's always an amazing experience thanks to everyone's support & presence there. We wanted to give a special thanks to ARTSmemphis for featuring our event on their platforms, and for GRANTing us the Arts Build Communities grant.

There’s a big sun over Kirby Stationhouse, with flowering trees on both sides. That’s the scene I painted in Oh, Sunny Day, the artwork chosen for this year’s V&E Greenline ArtWalk poster. I lived nearby, at Snowden and McLean, for 15 years, so this is a neighborhood I know well. I’m glad to return as this year’s featured artist.

Come see me at the ArtWalk, Saturday, October 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Kirby Stationhouse grounds, 1625 Tutwiler Avenue. I’ll be at booth B-8. Admission is free, and the 16″ × 20″ posters will be available at the V&E merchandise table near the stationhouse. I spent some time this past weekend signing them. Let's pray the rain will hold off!
