Greenwood Garden Club held a workshop today in preparation for their upcoming Flower Show, “April Showers Bring May Flowers and Foliage” on May 21, 2026. It will be a Horticulture Only Show with a fun Section of Photography for all to enjoy! We can’t wait to see you there!

Greenwood Garden Club enjoyed our February meeting with Karen Ingle. We learned so much from her about maintaining a healthy backyard habitat for our feathered friends. We also learned more about displaying horticulture correctly in preparation for our Flower Show in May. Last night several GGC members joined the cute ladies of Delta Garden Club at Dust Gardens for their December meeting. We all made precious Christmas topiaries, so fun! Thanks for letting the “old garden club ladies” join you! We had fun!

Greenwood Garden Club added these beautiful planters at the entrance of the Greenwood Leflore Hospital Cancer Center in honor of Plant it Pink and Breast Cancer Awareness Month.🩷

Last night the Greenwood Garden Club hosted their first Mahjong Night fundraiser and it was a success! 40+ ladies came together to play mahjong and 24 of those players learned to play the game for the first time! Great night of food, fun and ‘“mahjongs”! Thanks to all that prepared food, taught, and helped with the event…. It was a grand night!

We had a great kickoff meeting for the year last night! Robin Person taught us to infuse Gin with all kinds of neat things like pea flower, orange peel, mint,etc.
