PuppyUp Central Texas Local chapter of The Puppy Up Foundation based in Memphis, TN. We raise awareness of canine cancer & Luke and his boys walked through all types of weather.

A native son of Texas, Luke Robinson made a promise to raise awareness of canine cancer one mile, one city and one person at a time. In March of 2008 Luke and his 2 dogs, Hudson and Murphy began an 826 day journey walking 2000 miles from Austin TX to Boston MA to fulfill the promise he made to his dog Malcolm who died from Osteosarcoma. The three of them came face to face with rain storms, snow st

orms and heat waves. They did this while carrying everything they needed in packs on their backs and camping along the way in a pup tent. Along the way, generous families opened their homes to offer support and encouragment to the three of them. Luke, Hudson and Murphy also attended events, assisted in local animal shelters and met with veterinarians while telling Malcolm's story.
