‼️Statement from Critical Memphis Page Admins:
We are Not the shelter. We are networkers. Our page raises pledges to help 501c3 rescues that pull urgent dogs from MAS. If you pledge on a dog, once a MAS approved 501c3 pet placement partner (rescue that is screened and approved by MAS) commits and pulls the dog that you pledged for, we put donors and rescue into a group message. You will then donate directly to that rescue - for that particular dog.
If the dog is adopted (or sadly, euthanized) no pledges are collected.

🫶🏼Thank you for helping to fight for these lives. Every share, message, and action matters.

Per MAS 10/8/26:

Dear Rescue Partners:
I'm reaching out this morning in hopes that we can find new placement for a dog in our care. Her name is Joanna, she's estimated to be 4 years old and 45lbs.
Joanna has been in a foster home for the past four months and is a wonderful, very adoptable dog. She is house trained, crate trained, sleeps quietly in her crate overnight, and has done well with other dogs and people. She is young, active, and playful, and would do best with an active family or another energetic dog who enjoys play. She is also heartworm negative, already spayed, and up to date on all vaccines.
Her foster is unfortunately experiencing a family situation that makes continuing to foster her difficult, and Joanna needs a new placement soon. She has been in a loving home and is ready for her forever home. Her current foster will only be able to keep her through October 19th.
Please let us know if you may be able to help Joanna!
Thank you,
