Rehab/Detox...
4 of our precious sistas are in drug rehab. 2 of them have completed a 28 day stay in rehab and have asked to go to long term programs
(1-2 year stay)
These sistas began coming to the Drop In Center months ago for showers, clean clothes, hot meals and naps on the couch. These "simple" things we provided played major parts in our sistas deciding to leave the streets.
We couldn't have provided these things without the help of our monthly donors, meal providers and financial support!
Sometimes, it's the "simple" things that make such a big difference in the lives of others...

Some of our sistas have never had a birthday party, a birthday cake or even had anyone acknowledge their birthday.
At Sista2Sista, we celebrate our sistas' birthdays on the last Wednesday of each month with a birthday cake, ice cream, balloons and a birthday song! 🎉

Community Support...
We were recently given this donation of trial size laundry scent boosters/fabric softener and this smells great! Our sistas' laundry is gonna smell so good.They appreciate clean clothes and this will be something extra special to them. We've not had this before and they are gonna love this.

There are "new girls" showing up at The Drop In Center each week. We/they are so grateful to have found us! Hot meals, showers, clean clothes, long naps and trips to detox are just some of the things we provide for our precious sistas. Sista2Sista provided these services for 85 sistas this week.

Community Support...
Thank you Alliance Healthcare Services for being available for our sweet sista who was recently in crisis. Alliance is one of our first calls for our sistas, and as always, the help they provide is always prompt, appreciated and much needed.
Together, we will continue to walk alongside her on her new journey to sobriety.
Community support is so important.
