Legacy of Legends CDC had the opportunity to host the very first Frayser Exchange Club
On The Road to Memphis Business Academy, & we saw what happens when stakeholders who genuinely honor the work pull up, lock arms, and show up for our students.

From my seat as Director of Legacy, I’ve learned that loving our community can’t just sound good in conversation. Service has to have some feet on it. 🤷🏽‍♀️

So, to everybody who says they love and serve our people - one little piece of advice:
You gotta pull up and put some work behind it… 🤞🏽Authentically, Intentionally, and Consistently 🫰🏾

Because this village isn’t waiting. We’re already HEALing. BUILDing. GROWing. and LEADing while WRAPPING AROUND FRAYSER! 💨

And we deserves nothing less. 🏙️💙

Dr. Natasha R. Burnett is a criminal justice professional, educator, author, community advocate, and school board leader with more than 16 years of experience working with crime victims in the criminal justice system. As a Victim Witness Coordinator with the Shelby County District Attorney General’s Office, she has worked extensively with victims and families navigating some of the most challenging cases in Shelby County.

Community Engagement Director | One by One Ministries

One by One mentors and educates new and expectant mothers, combining practical parenting support with its Christ-centered mission. The organization serves mothers in the Greater Memphis area and other communities.

Casandra’s work focuses on building community relationships, developing partnerships, facilitating outreach, and engaging volunteers in support of the organization’s mission.

Chairman & Founder | Young Man University

Dr. Futrell has worked in youth development, education, gang intervention and prevention, and community outreach, with a particular focus on creating opportunities for young people and men facing difficult circumstances.

We’re excited to welcome Monique Neeley as our Executive Assistant! Monique brings an impressive 22 years of experience in the medical industry and office management, with a strong background in organization, administration, customer service, and keeping complex operations moving efficiently.

In her new role with Legacy, Monique will help strengthen our internal systems, executive operations, communication, coordination, and overall organizational excellence.

Her experience brings the structure and support we need as Team Legacy continues to grow!
