Together, we'll learn more about who we are, how to regulate our emotions, how to evolve as young women, and how to begin building legacies that outlive us.

This is an opportunity to challenge the way we think, grow in confidence, build meaningful connections, and discover what's possible when young women are equipped with the right tools and support.

In times like these, we cannot allow our communities to suffer in silence. After the heartbreaking loss of one of our young people this past Sunday, now more than ever, we must come together not only in grief, but in hope, healing, and action.

That is why we are bringing the Memphis Hope Fest Pop-Up Fest to North Memphis — to stand with our families, connect residents to resources, and remind our community that you are not alone.

Join us as we come together to provide hope, support, resources, food, music, and opportunities for children, youth, and families. Sometimes healing starts with simply knowing that someone cares and that help is available.

As we approach Year 4 of serving alongside Memphis Business Academy and intentionally supporting more than 100+ students each year through our Legacy Success Zones and wraparound initiatives, I want to personally express my gratitude to Principal Tamatha Smith while also recognizing the significance of Legacy of Legends CDC being one of the few grassroots organizations serving under the Full Service Community School model in partnership with Seeding Success.

Principal Smith has truly been the epitome of what it means to lead with purpose, compassion, structure, and vision. From strengthening school climate, to prioritizing staff development, to remaining committed to student success, her leadership continues to create an environment where students and families can thrive.

Through the Full Service Community School approach, we have been able to provide intentional support, mentorship, wraparound services, and meaningful opportunities that extend beyond the classroom.

This work is rooted in collaboration, trust, and a shared commitment to creating long-term impact within the community.

Partnerships like this matter deeply because meaningful change happens when schools and community organizations work together with intentionality and care.

We are honored to continue this work with MBA and celebrate the leadership Principal Smith brings to the students, staff, and the entire school community every single day.

In light of Children’s Mental Health Awareness, the Legacy of Legends CDC Champions League wants every student to remember one thing — real champions speak up, check in, and take care of their mental health.

Being a champion is not just about grades, sports, or showing up looking sharp in your Champions gear… it’s about building confidence, resilience, leadership, and learning how to handle life’s challenges in healthy ways. 💙

Our coaches are here to remind our students that it is okay to ask for help, take a reset, express emotions, and support one another like a true team. Every conversation, every check-in, every encouraging word, and every moment of growth matters.

At Legacy of Legends, we are building more than students — we are building future leaders, game changers, and resilient young people who know their voice and mental wellness matter.
