Puppies begin their training before they even leave the breeders home. When puppies go home training should begin immediately such a Sit, Wait, Down among other
simple commands. Our goal is to have a well socialized dog and training is key to making your dog more confident and comfortable in different situations. Dog Training is a considerable part of a responsible dog owner ship, and one I don’t take lightly. AKC a provides training programs for you & your dog after they have had their 3rd set of vaccinations usually around 16 weeks old. There are no shortcuts! No “special collar”, “no magic button.”
It takes daily practice, consistency, and most of all positive reinforcement. Having a well trained dog should be the goal of all dog owners, but there are no shortcuts whether you want to help your dog become a Certified Therapy dog to visit hospitals, nursing homes and schools or just a good family dog. Positive training is key. No matter what dog training program or activity you choose, One thing is for sure you and your dog will develop an even deeper bond than you thought possible. I personally find going to Classes & competing in AKC Obedience and Rally shows a lot of fun and I’ve met some amazing people.
