YM is a grassroots intellectual movement that has been active since the early '90s.

Mission
The goal of Young Muslims shall be to seek the pleasure of Allah (SWT) by educating, training and developing the Muslim youth to be balanced Islamic workers in the United States. It is the largest national off campus grassroots youth organization in the United States. YM’s goal is to present Islam in an easy and beautiful fashion. Furthermore, YM aims to present Islam in a socially and spi

ritually relevant manner such that it develops a balanced American and Muslim identity. YM achieves its goal by providing high school and college students with an opportunity to engage in dialogue regarding their religious experience and discuss spiritual concerns on a weekly basis. YM’s primary objective is to foster a safe environment in which high school and university Muslim students can question and become informed about their faith on a weekly basis.

Alhamdulillah, the brothers were able to gather at Saabir’s house for a beautiful NeighborNet Iftar! 🌙✨
The evening was a perfect blend of community🏘️ and reflection as we broke our fast-together and recharged our spirits for the remaining days of Ramadan. 🤲
Between the intense racing sessions on the sim-rig 🏎️, gaming 🎮, food🍔. It’s nights like these that remind us of the strength found in brotherhood and good company. Huge shoutout to Saabir and his family for being incredible hosts and opening their home🏠💙

Alhamdullilah, YM Melville, Deer Park & Ronkonkoma were able to have their annual Qiyaam night at 🕌Islamic Center of Melville🩵

The night was grounded in preparing for Ramadan and starting good habits while shaytan was locked away ⛓️

We had activities such as kabadi 🤼, soccer ⚽️ , dodgeball 🏐 and more! We had food from Mariam’s Cafe, Yoyo chicken, and Kabab Platters & Burgers😋

It was an amazing night and with such talented reciters 🎤, we were able to get a taste for what was to come in our beloved month of Ramadan 🌙

We thank Islamic Center of Melville for being such gracious hosts and trusting us to hold this amazing Qiyaam night🩵

Assalamu Alaikum. Alhamdulillah YMNY was able to participate in our partner event with Helping Hand for Relief and Development, Give Water Give Life. This event was a great reminder to not take our blessings for granted, and fundraise money for those in Gaza and underdeveloped areas in Pakistan.

YM East Meadow x Shelter Rock Qiyaam Night 🌙🔥

Alhamdullilah, the brothers (aunties) pulled through and allowed our annual potluck to be successful🤤

We spent the night engaged in activities such as wrestling🤼, Kabadi & pingpong 🏓 The energy was there🔥

We tied off the night with 8 rakats of tahajud, fajr salah🧎 & a Khatira 🗣️, before cleaning up the facility🧽🫧

A Muslim is the one who leaves a place better than how he found it🫡

Conquered the trails with the brothers 🥾 Took in the breathtaking views while reflecting on the beauty of creation 🌄 Topped it all off with kababs at the base 🍖Prayed Dhuhr & Asr under the open sky 🤲 and ended the day with nothing but good vibes, brotherhood, and of-course salat.☝️

Shoutout to everyone from Jamaica and QV for pulling up and making this trip special 🗣️

Vibes were immaculate, the bond is stronger than ever. Let’s keep this momentum going 📈

Alhamdulillah, we had an amazing joint with YM Shelter Rock and Deer Park! We started off with some competition at North Hempstead Beach Park☀️, playing volleyball 🏐, basketball 🏀, and more.

We then gathered to pray Maghrib together before heading over to the North Shore Islamic Center🕌 for a powerful Halaqa about Palestine 🇵🇸 lead by Brother Zakreya and Kobzan 🎤, which was truly eye opening. After praying Isha, we kept the energy going and headed to Hillside for some food.🌮

Wrapped up the night with some of the brothers chilling at Zaid’s house after! It was a day full of bonding, faith, and good times.🤲🏻
