Puppy Hill Farm Animal Rescue We are a 501c3 non-profit in the northcentral Florida area that rescues and rehomes pets through holistic care, community, and a whole lotta luv.

We are a 501(c)(3) tax-deductible animal rescue organization whose mission is to save as many animals as possible. We work closely with Alachua County Animal Services to reduce euthanasias at the Alachua County shelter. We adopt dogs and cats of all ages to good homes at the Gainesville Petsmart (Butler Plaza on Archer Rd) every Saturday and Sunday. We have a great selection of adoptable animals,

including puppies, adult dogs, small dogs, cats, and kittens. All of our animals have been started on vaccinations (depending on how long they have been with us, they may need further vaccinations after adoptions). All have been vet checked and treated for any notable illness. All dogs are heartworm negative and many have been through heartworm treatment in our program. Some of these animals may have special needs, all of which are discussed at time of adoption. We often have specials on adult animal adoptions. Not that these animals have flaws, but they are slightly used and may not be perfect! These are adult animals looking for a permanent home and they have many different stories of their pasts and all deserve a second chance at the good life. Please help us save lives….one life at a time.

We'll have puppies, dogs, cats, and kittens. June is BOGO kitten adoption month - both at Millhopper Petsmart (in-store adoptions every day from 10am to 5pm) and Petsmart-Archer Rd Saturday events.

We'll have some new faces available tomorrow and some frequent flyers just hoping tomorrow is their day!

Hughsey is headed back from his mountain adventure and sure would appreciate a foster rather than going back to the kennels. He's a really good boy and listens really well!! If you can foster (or want to adopt!), please reach out to us!

We've got several water-loving and/or fetching dogs at the moment!

Luna loves the hose and splashing in a baby pool! She's a 3-year-old strong-willed Husky mix. She also dabbled a bit in fetch, but wasn't the greatest at bringing it back. She's dog-friendly too and does best with rough and tumble players. Ask to meet her!

Some dogs just have it...that perfect head tilt! Wrinkles has it down and seems to know how to take it to the extreme! He's a 1-year-old mix who is nothing but trouble 😀 He's very dog-friendly and loves people. Opening doors and jumping baby gates are just a few of his tricks! He is attentive and would be great at harnessing his mischief towards cool skills that aren't so annoying with some structured training! He's super sweet and affectionate.

Last picture shows that a great head tilt may just run in families. His sister, Tinky, has it down as well. Both are available for adoption and Tinky loves water!

Our two bottle babies left in a box in our kennel driveway a few weeks ago are hitting all their milestones! They recently found their voices. They tried mush for the first time this week and they just started playing.

We are forever grateful to all our wonderful fosters who give their hearts and time to care for and help get our animals ready for the next step of their journeys! We couldn't help as many as we do without your dedication! Thank you ❤️

Our not so little Junebug was diagnosed with prostate cancer recently. After reoccurring UTI's and ultrasound sound showed a mass in his bladder and thickened prostate walls. Thankfully, the UF Community Outreach Program was able to get him in for biopsies. Unfortunately, the prognosis was not good. Junior probably doesn't have too much longer with us.

We would love for him to be in a foster home for whatever time he has left. He does have a life partner, Boss, and he's very attached to her. They both weigh around 70lbs and and are in the 8yo range. They would probably be best in an only pet home.

They came to us last year through thd County shelter after their family was unable to keep them. Boss had a huge growth on her head that UF VCOP was able to remove and it turned out to be benign. They are very loving, clean, and not very active.

It's a big ask, but anyone out there with no othet pets who could welcome these two into your home for whatever time Junior has remaining? We'll provide food and supplies and medical needs ❤️🤞

Lilly is a 5-ish year old Lab (mix) with a live of food, toys, and water! She's a big girl weighing 80+ lbs...she's one who has loose skin. She's a lot of dog, but she listens well and knows basic commands. She delights at tug-o-war and can be a talker. She is assertive with other dogs and is good at ignoring barky neighbors. She's a lovely girl with a very focused Labby personality! Come meet her at Petsmart-Archer Rd this Saturday from 11am to 330pm!

Marshall needs a foster or adopter to keep him from going back to the county shelter. We can help, but need a foster who can commit to caring for him until he's adopted (we're maxxed out on space!). He's good with female dogs, no cats.

If you can help, please reach out to his current foster or us!
